    Associate Dean of Institutional Effectiveness

    Wilson College invites nominations and expressions of interest for the position of Associate Dean of Institutional Effectiveness. Founded in 1869, Wilson is a liberal arts institution with a rigorous academic program that offers undergraduate, graduate and adult degree programs.     Stable Assistant Job

    Wilson is in search of a professional stable associate to help care for up to 70 resident horses. A bachelor’s degree in equestrian studies or related field is required and a minimum of one year professional experience is preferred.

    Candidates must have strong horsemanship skills, including feeding, handling fractious animals calmly, blanketing, grooming, clipping and follow up veterinary care. The ability to recognize and assess potential problems immediately is critical. Candidates must be familiar with the correct administration of IM, PO and OS medications; correct application of poultices, sweats, standing bandages, foot wraps and other first aid care; and emergency and follow-up care. The position requires the ability to work independently and to supervise and mentor students, while also taking direction. Candidates must be able to work effectively as team member and have a strong desire to learn. Professionalism, good judgment, attention to detail and good organizational and communication skills are required.
