Programs and Services

The Hankey Center provides high quality academic experiences, in addition to access to a rich repository of historical materials and artifacts relating to the history of the education of women, and to the history of Wilson College, specifically. We work to enhance the academic and intellectual life of the Wilson College community, as well as the regional community through collaborations with area historical societies, school districts and other colleges.

Our staff is available to speak to your organization on topics relating to the history of Wilson College, the history of the education of women, the education and advancement of women and girls, encouraging girls in STEM fields, women's leadership issues, and archival studies. Please contact Amy Ensley (amy.ensley@wilson.edu) or Leigh Rupinski (leigh.rupinski@wilson.edu) for more information.

The Hankey Center also arranges for guest speakers on a variety of topics for events such as National Women's History Month and the Science in Society Seminar Series. Please contact Amy Ensley if you have suggestions or are interested in speaking at Wilson College.
