Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies
The Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Studies is designed as a transfer program to a baccalaureate degree at Wilson or elsewhere. Students matriculating in this degree program will receive a solid background in general education courses. They will also have the opportunity, in consultation with an advisor, to elect courses of unique benefit to them as they contemplate their baccalaureate degree major.

- ENG 101 Written Communication\
- Foreign Language: Two courses in the same language
- IS 206 Comparative Contemporary Cultures
- MAT 100 Intermediate Algebra*
Electives distributed as follows:

One 100-level ENG course, which is writing intensive

One TDS elective in the subcategory of Foundations of Western Cultures and Societies

One TDS elective in Modes of Thought, Inquiry and Expression
Four additional elective courses

Humanities (two courses from the following; no more than one per discipline): ENG 204, ENG 214, ENG 215, ENG 230, FA 115, MCM 120, RLS 108, RLS 109, RLS 204, RLS 207.

Social Sciences (two courses from the following:) ECO 101, ECO 102, HIS 124, HIS 125, PS 120, PSY 110, SOC 120.
*Note: If the student places out of MAT 100, another elective may be used to complete the 18 course requirement.
