This is a day reserved for home and cyber school students in grades 9th through 11th. This day will provide students an opportunity to do hands-on and interesting science experiments in a safe laboratory environment under the guidance of Wilson College faculty and students. The experiments were chosen to both challenge and engage high school students. The registered students will have the opportunity to participate in two different science experiences during the Science Lab Day. The registered students choose two of six different physical and environmental science-based experiments covering topics from microbiology, chemistry, physics, environmental and applied science. Although we cannot guarantee selected preferences, every effort will be made to place students into preferred lab activities depending on demand and available space. All registrants are sure to have a fun-filled day of learning and doing science. The event will take place in the new, state-of-the-art science laboratories within the Brooks Complex on Wilson's campus. Parents of registrants stay on-site and will be given time to network with other home-school parents as well as listen to talks from Wilson College personnel and faculty on how to prepare their children for college and other important information.
We hope you will join us for this great science learning opportunity!
Please fill out the registration form below and pay a $5 fee using the secure system to save your spot by Jan. 20, 2013.
