Internship Opportunity

April 2

As a former broadcast journalist and news producer that made the transition to marketing and advertising, I’ve been able to combine my two passions (horses and video production) and form a pretty successful production company.

At the current time, we are in production with a show called Equine Ed that has been picked up by RFD-TV and Horse & Country TV. We also work with a company (as producers) called IMAGE that does live streaming, green screen live streaming, virtual education, and live show production.

I am looking for a person (preferably female, as she will be living in my home) that has some background in video production and wants to learn a whole lot more. She must also have experience with horses (as much of the taping for Equine Ed involves being around horses). She would be trained by me, personally, and will be shadowing me until I’m comfortable that she would be able to handle a shoot or an assignment on her own (both with Equine Ed and IMAGE) or with a crew. This would start as a summer job and depending on her work, could turn into a full time position.

I will provide her with her own room and bathroom (very large home), food, board for
her horse (if she has one), a weekly stipend, and dressage lessons (currently training at
Prix St. George with Bill Woods).

I realize this is an odd combination. A horse person that does video is not something
you come by every day, but I thought it was worth a shot.
Thank you, I look forward to hearing from you.
