ALUMNAE/I ART EXHIBITION OPENS AUGUST 26 AT WILSON COLLEGE
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Wilson College will hold a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, to mark the opening of Alumnae/i Art Exhibition. The exhibit, presented by Wilson’s Department of Fine Arts and Dance, Office of Alumnae/i Relations, and C. Elizabeth Boyd Archives, will continue through December 6, in the Hankey Center. The show opens on Monday, August 26.
The show provides a venue for Wilson alumnae/i to share their work with the community. Some participants in the exhibit studied art while at Wilson and have enjoyed very successful careers as artists. Other participants discovered their passion and skill long after leaving their alma-matter. Like most open calls for entry, the exhibit will feature drawings, paintings, prints, ceramics, photographs and mixed-media artwork with a wide array of subject matter and content.
The Hankey Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free. For additional information or an appointment, contact Amy Ensley, Director of the Hankey Center at (717) 264-4141 ext. 3279, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
