Winterthur and the “Costumes of Downton Abbey” Friday, October 17, 2014

Join Wilson alumnae/i, family and friends for a day at Winterthur, home of Francis du Pont and one of America’s premier Museums for decorative arts near Wilmington, Delaware. We will enjoy a tour of the Museum and a special visit to the original exhibition “Costumes of Downton Abbey,” featuring 40 exquisite designs from the award-winning television series. The exhibit contrasts the fictional world of Downton Abbey and the world of the du Ponts in the first half of the 20th century. Admission and lunch are a total of $40 and the deadline for reservations is October 1, 2014. The day's schedule is:

10 a.m. Arrive and meet at ticket location
10:30 a.m. Tour Museum - guided
11:30 a.m. Visit Downtown Abbey costumes exhibit
1 p.m. Lunch- Reserved seating in Garden Cafe'
Visit garden on your own following lunch.
