Don’t Miss A Visit to Longwood Gardens - Friday, May 15, 2015
Join Wilson College alumnae, family and friends as we visit Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. In 1906 Pierre du Pont purchased the property and later transformed it into one of the country’s leading display gardens. May is a special time to visit the magical outdoor gardens and Conservatory ablaze with brilliant spring colors. The newly expanded Meadows showcase native wild flowers and grasses. A special tour of the eastern gardens has been arranged for our group.
