Founded upon the belief that everyone has the right to “know all that he can know,” the lake-front Chautauqua Institution in Western New York offers participants the chance to attend lectures, book signings, art shows, and performances. A different theme is featured each week in workshops, study groups, and morning lectures. Goucher’s Alumnae/i organization has been offering special bus trips to and from Chautauqua for many summers. Thanks to Wilson’s Alumnae Tours & Travel Committee and to Betty Hanna Kansler, ’61, who holds a M.Ed. from Goucher, Wilson alumnae, spouses/partners and friends are invited to join them in 2014. The bus leaves from the Goucher campus in Baltimore and returns there. Free parking is available at the Goucher campus. Their pricing includes a required $250 tax-deductible donation to their Scholarship Fund. Accommodations are at the historic Atheneum Hotel at www.athenaeum-hotel.com/ Click on this PDF Registration form to register and for more information.
