The Alumnae Association of Wilson College is pleased to announce and congratulate the 2014 award recipients:
Distinguished Alumna Award – Linda Kaley Erkelens ’64
Distinguished ADP (Adult Degree Program) Alumna/us Award – Maxine Lesher Gindlesperger  ‘98
Outstanding Young Alumna Award - Catherine Shaffer ’94
Tift College Award – Dr. Nancy Kostas ’64 and Marian “Mimi” Stevenson ’74
Faculty Award – Dr. Abdolreza Banan
*Due to Dr. Banan’s schedule, his award presentation will be held the Saturday of Leadership Weekend (Sept. 26-28). There will be a brief presentation at the Reunion Faculty Brunch in his honor with the opportunity to share your memories.                                                                                                                               

Reunion Schedule


6 a.m. Coffee and tea available, Lenfest Lobby

7 – 8:30 a.m. Breakfast, Jensen Dining Hall

8 – 11 a.m. Registration, Lenfest Lobby

8 – 9 a.m. Choir rehearsal, Alumnae Chapel

8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Class Meeting and Gathering Opportunity, Class lounge areas.

8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Bookstore open, Lenfest

9 a.m. – Noon  Alumnae/i Emporium, Lenfest Lobby. (T-shirts, notecards and other items for sale).

9 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Van trip for family members, Visit Gettysburg. Preregistration required for appropriate arrangements to be made. Meet outside of Lenfest for carpooling.

9:45 – 10:45 a.m. State of the College with President Barbara K. Mistick, Brooks Auditorium.
10:45 – 11:45 a.m.  Alumnae Association General Meeting, Brooks Auditorium. This annual meeting is your opportunity to hear about the work of the alumnae association board, ask questions, vote for proposed slate of directors and hear about future plans. 

11:45 a.m.  Class lineup and procession, Lenfest Green. All reunion classes will march into the alumnae luncheon.  Each class should meet in front of Lenfest, where staff guidance will be provided. Classes will be directed into the dining hall in order of youngest to oldest.

Noon – 2 p.m.  All-Alumnae Luncheon, Jensen Dining Hall. Join us as we give special recognition to our 50th  reunion class and all other reunion years. Class giving award presentations.

1:30 p.m.  Class pictures, Various Campus Locations. Class to be called and directed from luncheon. Pre-order with your registration or order on location with payment at Sunday pickup. No money handled at picture site.

1:30 – 4:30 p.m.  Hankey Center Tours, Hankey Center
•    Meet the Archivist – Leigh Rupinski
•    Visit the Wilson College Alumnae Missionaries Exhibit

2 p.m.  Orchesis gathering, Appenzellar-Buchanan Dance Studio

3:30 p.m.  Alumnae Association Awards Presentation, Brooks Auditorium. Reception will be held in the Brooks portico after the presentation.

4:15 – 7:30 p.m. Women with Children, Family Roller Skating Outing. Preregistration required for appropriate arrangements to be made. Meet outside of Lenfest for carpooling.

6 p.m.  Class of 1964 Reception, Jensen Dining Hall. Hosted by President Barbara K. Mistick and Vice President for Institutional Advancement Camilla B. Rawleigh

6:30 p.m.  Class Dinners
