NEAC Softball Tournament Information

The Wilson College softball team will travel to Reading, Pa. this weekend for their fifth consecutive appearance in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship tournament. The six-team, double elimination tournament will be played on May 3-5 at Hintz Athletic Fields at Penn State Berks. The Phoenix will take on SUNY Cobleskill in their first game of the tournament on Friday, May 3 at 4:00 p.m.

The host institution, Penn State Berks, will provide periodic updates of tournament scores and stats at their NEAC Softball Championship tournament central page. In addition, the Wilson College athletic department will give Phoenix fans the opportunity to follow all of Wilson’s games during the tournament via live stats. From Harrisburg, PA and Points West

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 286 (Reading/Denver). Exit to 222 North. Follow the signs for 222 North/Allentown. Exit at Broadcasting Road. Make a right at the traffic signal onto Broadcasting Road. Make the first right onto Harper Road (campus entrance).

Penn State Berks- Hintz Athletic Fields

Make your turn onto Broadcasting Rd. and follow about 1/2 mile to the first stop sign. Make a right onto Tulpehocken Rd. Follow Tulpehocken Rd 3/4 of a mile to the first stop sign. Make a right onto Berkshire Blvd. The Hintz Athletic Field entrance is about 100 yards on your right.

Families, friends, and other fans must park in the resident parking lot below the Hintz Athletic Fields. Directions to the resident parking lot are as follows:

Make a left turn onto Tulpehocken Road and follow it about a ¼ mile. Make a left onto Clary Drive. Make the first left into the parking area.
