The 2013 season marked the first year for Wilson College Cross Country. Despite being young and small, the team has shown significant improvement throughout the season. The team is led by freshman Emma Miller, who has finished in the top 40% of competitors for all but one meet.
“I have been impressed with the significant improvement that the women have displayed all season,” said head coach Joanna Hayes. “I believe the conference meet will be no different. The women are ready for this meet and will do very well.”
The top 21 runners from the race will be named to the NEAC All-Conference Team. The top seven runners will be on the First Team, the next seven on the Second Team, and the bottom seven on the Third Team. The women's championship will consist of 12 schools competing.
