Cross Country Shines at NEAC Championships / Miller Placed on First Team All-Conference

The women’s cross country team recorded one of their best performances of the season today as they competed in the NEAC Championships on the campus of SUNY IT. All Wilson runners finished the 5K run in the top 35 out of 84 runners.

Freshman Emma Miller crossed the line in 21:33 and received First Team All-Conference honors. Miller, who came in 6th place, joined the group of the top seven finishers who were selected on the NEAC First Team All-Conference.

Sophomore Katelyn Wingerd placed 28th and posted a time of 24:02 for the race. Freshman Danniele Fulmer finished closely behind in 24:42.

Congratulations to the team on their recent athletic accomplishments. With the completion of the NEAC Championships, the Phoenix conclude their first year of cross country at Wilson College.
