Muhibbah Club International Dinner
Saturday, March 2
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Location: Jensen Dining Hall
Muhibbah Club of Wilson College will hold its annual international dinner on March 2, ’13. Guests and students will be able to enjoy a variety of international food items--vegetable tempura (an appetizer from Japan), Chicken Biryani (an entrée from Pakistan), Tom Kha Gai (coconut chicken soup from Thailand), Baklava (a dessert from Armenia), and Nepali chai (tea). The dinner will also showcase an assortment of performances including an Indian folk dance, Armenian traditional dance and a Korean performance. From the money collected from last year’s Muhibbah Dinner, the club donated $500 to Maiti Nepal, a nonprofit organization in Nepal dedicated to helping victims of sex trafficking. This year, a part of the proceeds from the dinner will go to IMA World Health, a nonprofit faith based health care organization providing aid and assistance to those in need in developing countries.
The dinner will start at 6:00 pm in the Jensen Dining Hall, and the performances will take place at 7:00 pm in Laird Hall.
