Volunteers Needed for Trees for Tomorrow
Saturday, April 26
Time: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Conococheague Creek, Wilson College Campus
Do you have cabin fever? Ready to dig in the dirt and feel a warm-er breeze on your face? Save the date of Saturday, April 26 to take part in “Trees for Tomorrow,” a tree planting and environmental festival at Wilson in partnership with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
Wilson is working with the Alliance to plant 300 trees in one day along the Conococheague Creek. We will need approximately 100 volunteers. The project to plant native trees and shrubs benefits the watershed and keeps the creek healthy and viable for future generations.
