Wilson's Teacher Intern Program Now Certifies Grades 4-8

The Pennsylvania Department of Education has approved Wilson for middle school certification (grades 4 through 8) in four areas: English language arts and reading, math, physical science (chemistry and physics) and social studies. The approval, necessary because of changes PDE made to certification designations, expands Wilson’s Teacher Intern program offerings, allowing the College to serve a wider prospective pool. The addition of middle school certification—completed through evening courses—distinguishes Wilson from other colleges that do not offer grade 4-8 programs. Visit for more information about Wilson College's teacher certification programs.
