Disability Services

Wilson College makes every effort to meet the needs of students with documented disabilities and/or learning differences. Depending on documentation provided by the student, accommodations may include the following:

  • Permission to record lectures
  • Assistance in finding a volunteer notetaker
  • Copies of lecture notes when available
  • Extended (not unlimited) time on tests
  • Alternate, distraction-reduced test sites
  • Enlarged tests/handouts
  • Reader to read test questions
  • Scribe to record answers
  • Oral testing when appropriate
  • Permission to use special learning aids such as calculators, spell-checks, etc. when appropriate
  • Other specific accommodations as determined on a case-by-case basis

Note: The presence of a disability and/or learning difference and the granting of accommodations do not negate the student's responsibility to attend classes regularly, meet course requirements/standards, and use granted accommodations responsibly.

Students may complete and submit a Request for Disability Support Form to begin this process.
