William K. Shoemaker, Ed. D. served as a K-12 educator in public education for 36 years prior to coming to Wilson College. His career began teaching sixth grade before moving into school administration, where he served as a principal, assistant superintendent and finally, as a superintendent. Dr. Shoemaker’s collegiate education began at Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. He earned his Master of Education degree from Shippensburg University. Principal certification was obtained at Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) and his doctorate in Educational Leadership was earned at Immaculata University. At Wilson, Dr. Shoemaker directs the Master of Education program and teaches both undergraduate and graduate level courses
