Description of Responsibilities for Graduate Assistants in the Hankey Center Perform basic research using the materials in the Boyd Archives (alumnae files, college newspapers, administrative records, correspondence, photographs, etc.) to answer questions related to ongoing Hankey Center projects which primarily relate to women’s history and contemporary women’s issues. Assist with exhibit design, both physical and online. Assist with creation of teacher education materials such as the creation of Document Based Question materials for high school social studies teachers using primary sources found in the archives. Assist in the creation of digital humanities projects such as short documentaries and data visualizations of materials from the archives. Assist with Hankey Center outreach and public relations initiatives such as the Women’s History High School Essay Contest, Hankey Center Facebook page, and lecture series. Assist with Women’s Studies programming.
