Founded in 1869, Wilson is located in the charming town of Chambersburg, amid rural countryside but within 160 kilometers of Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Md. Our 121-hectare campus is graced by rolling lawns and historic buildings on the banks of the Conococheague Creek. The safety of the Chambersburg community is enhanced by our secure residence halls, which are locked at all times. Housing in one of our seven residence halls is guaranteed for four years.
Academic offerings include more than 40 premier programs in the humanities, sciences and social sciences, as well as the opportunity to customize a major. All students have the opportunity to participate in internships, the Washington Center program, study abroad and research projects. Students can be active in more than 20 student-led organizations, five women's and four men's NCAA Division III sports and on-campus equestrian programs. International students receive the support of special advisers, English as a Second Language and American culture classes, and the Friendly Family program, which matches students with families in the local community.

International students receive the support of the International Student & Scholar Services office (ISSS), as well as English as a Second Language classes as needed. Financial aid is available for academically talented international students. Student life offers more than 40 student-led organizations that focus on academics, athletics, government/leadership, publications, special interests, such as the international club, and social activities. Athletes may choose from five NCAA Division III teams; field hockey, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball for women and soccer, basketball, golf and volleyball for men.
There is guaranteed on-campus housing for full-time students. All residence halls are locked at all times; only residential students have the key to their building.
