Many Nights Ahead

Many Nights Ahead was born in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. All of the members have been surrounded by bluegrass music since a young age. However, despite their bluegrass roots, they do not consider themselves a traditional bluegrass band. Each member of the band adds a different taste to their songs. Many Nights ahead plays a wide variety of music. Songs ranging from Bluegrassified Top 40 covers to traditional bluegrass songs and instrumental. The Washtub Bass, Washboard, Gruitjo, and Cigar Box Dobro all provide a very unique sound and sight.

Back by popular demand, Efi will perform a solo piano recital of Classical Music in Thomson Hall's Alumnae Chapel. Following the performance there will be a complimentary reception in Lenfest Commons.

America's longest running classical touring company will return to Wilson once again, this time performing William Shakespeare's Macbeth. For an ambitious couple gripped with murderous thoughts, reality proves to be elastic. Witches, floating daggers, moving forests, and blood that refuses to wash away - who can tell what is real and what is imagined? Shakespeare's twisted tale examines the brutal consequences of unchecked ambition.

As a gifted songwriter, this dynamic vocalist brings fresh insight and infectious energy to her approach of beloved classics and a transparency in her songwriting that speaks to that for which we all yearn - truth without compromise. Kerensa's music finds balance in her ability to skillfully interweave melodies of jazz, blues and folk music into a sound that is undeniably and uniquely her while her talent as a gifted vocalist unearths yet unseen perspectives into the standards that are the soundtracks to our lives.

It has been said that his shows are like a stage director doing a show on Broadway with 20 performers he has never met and they have never seen a script - because there isn't one!
