Sports Camps for Girls

Brush up on your field hockey, basketball and softball skills this summer. Prepare for your upcoming season with agility, flexibility, endurance and speed work. Field Hockey Little’s Camp
July 8 –July 11
6:30 to 8 p.m. (ages 6-9)
$60

Beginners can have fun learning proper technique and skills. Drills and games with one-on-one instruction can be expected to help new players. Bring a mouth guard.

Field Hockey Shooting Camp
July 29-Aug. 1
5 to 6:30 p.m. (ages 12-17)
$75

Emphasis will be placed on shooting techniques and repetition to improve muscle memory and hitting efficiency. Shooting camp will coincide with Goalkeeper Camp, to maximize the shooting skills against an opponent. Field players must have a mouth guard and shin guards.

Field Hockey Camp
July 29-Aug. 1
8 to 11 a.m. (ages 13-17) -- $95
10:30 to 12:30 p.m. (ages 10-12) -- $80

Emphasis placed on stick work and fundamentals. Drills and small games will provide strategy concepts. Player packet available for purchase includes stick, ball and shin guards. Bring a mouth guard.

 This camp provides greater individual and age specific instruction. Emphasis will be placed upon improving each player’s experience and skill level.

Field Hockey Goal Keeper Camp
July 29-Aug. 1
5 to 6:30 p.m. (ages 11-17)
$75
Drills that provide actual game-like experiences and one-on-one instruction can be expected. Instruction will focus on proper technique, conditioning and skills. Goalkeepers must bring equipment to use during camp, including feet and leg guards, gloves, chest protector and helmet.

Softball Pitching for Beginners Camp (ages 9-16)
July 22 –July 25
Session 1: 8 to 9:30 a.m. OR Session 2: 10 to 11:30 a.m.
$75

Pitching techniques and strategies for beginning softball pitchers will be provided. Each pitcher must bring a catcher (it may be a parent).

Softball Camp
July 29-Aug. 1
12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. (ages 9-16)

Emphasis on basic skills including throwing, hitting and fielding will be provided, including offensive and defensive strategies. Opportunities for game play. Bring softball glove.

Conditioning Camp
July 22-25
8 a.m. to 10 a.m. (ages 9-17)
$50

 Athletes will prepare for the upcoming season with agility, flexibility, endurance, and speed work.

Soccer Goal Keeper Camp
July 29-Aug. 1
5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (ages 11-17)

Designed for goalkeepers who want to develop and improve their skills in a positive and fun learning environment. Instruction on proper technique, conditioning, and skills will be provided. Drills will provide actual game-like experiences. One-on-one instruction is expected. Goalkeepers should bring gloves and shin guards, if possible.

Striker Camp
July 29-Aug. 1

5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (ages 11-17)

Designed for goal scorers who want to develop and improve their skills. Instruction on proper technique, conditioning, and skills will be provided. Striker camp will coincide with Goalkeeper Camp, to maximize shooting skills against an opponent. Strikers should bring shin guards and a ball, if possible.

Basketball
July 8-July 11
6 to 8 p.m. (ages 13-17)

 Designed to help players develop their ball handling skills and improve upon their shooting skills. Campers will have fun while learning proper technique and skills. Drills and games with one-on-one instruction can be expected to promote a positive learning environment.
