    Wilson College Basketball kicked off the season 2-0 winning the First Annual Women’s College Tip-off Tournament hosted at Cedar Crest College. The Phoenix faced Cedar Crest Saturday in the first game of the tournament and Bryn Mawr College in Sunday’s Championship game.

    The Wilson College field hockey team split their pair of weekend games in Newport News, Va., defeating Houghton College 3-1 Saturday afternoon, and then suffering a 2-1 overtime loss to 8th ranked Christopher Newport University Sunday.

    Announcement

    Shortly before 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, a car traveling at a high rate of speed on U.S. 11 left the roadway and came to rest on the campus green. No members of the Wilson community were involved, though the accident did result in a fatality. As a result the College is offering counseling services today from 2:30 to 5 p.m. in the counselor's office in Lenfest Commons.
