    Information Session Set for July 9

    Wilson College will host an information session about its master’s degree program in the humanities at noon on Wednesday, July 9, in Norland Hall. A free lunch will be provided. The hour-long session will cover how to apply and provide an overview of the program, including new courses and concentrations now available; financial aid; career opportunities; graduate assistantships and more.     Grant Helps Wilson Continue Free Neutering Services for Animal Shelters

    Wilson College has received a $40,000 grant from the Burket-Plack Foundation to help offset costs associated with the college providing free spay and neuter services to local animal shelters.

    Choral Concert Set for May 4

    The Wilson College Choir will perform its spring concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 4, in Thomson Hall’s Alumnae Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public. The choir, led by director Elizabeth Thorpe, will feature “Show Tunes of the Past and Present.” Selections include a Disney medley, “Do You Hear the People Sing?” from Les Miserables, “Seasons of Love” from Rent and “There’s No Business Like Show Business” from Annie Get Your Gun.
