Schneck Named NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week
Sophomore, Megan Schneck (Bethel, Pa./ Tulpehocken) was chosen as the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) softball student-athlete of the week for her outstanding performance on the softball field in Wilson’s season opening tournament in North Carolina.

Tara Fields Earns All-Conference Honors
Wilson College basketball player, Tara Fields (Berryville, VA/ Clark County), was selected to the North Eastern Athletic Conference’s (NEAC) All-Conference Third Team as a guard. The 5-foot-4 ball handler has been a threat for the Phoenix on both sides of the ball.

Wilson Student-Athletes Present at APPLE Conference
Wilson College’s APPLE Team traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia to give a presentation during this year’s annual NCAA APPLE Conference. During Saturday’s breakout session, Wilson’s APPLE Team educated a room full of NCAA Division I, II, and III student-athletes and their Athletic Administrators with a PowerPoint Presentation entitled “Successful APPLE Action Plans- Alcohol Awareness Week-Jeopardy Game.” During the presentation, the team described the Jeopardy game sponsored for Wilson student-athletes during this fall’s Alcohol Awareness Week.

The Phoenix Earn First Win of the Season
The Wilson College basketball team went 1-1 in this weekend’s NEAC conference play. Wilson was defeated by the College of St. Elizabeth on Saturday 56-72, and then rebounded Sunday to defeat Penn State Abington 72-59.

Wilson Basketball Starts the Season with the Vassar College Tip-Off Tournament
The Wilson College basketball team is off to a 0-2 start after traveling to Poughkeepsie, NY this weekend to participate in the Vassar College Tip-Off Tournament. The Phoenix were defeated by Wellesley College 64-35 on Saturday afternoon, and defeated in the consolation match by Cedar Crest College 72-60 on Sunday.
