    Wilson Student-Athletes Present at APPLE Conference

    Wilson College’s APPLE Team traveled to Charlottesville, Virginia to give a presentation during this year’s annual NCAA APPLE Conference. During Saturday’s breakout session, Wilson’s APPLE Team educated a room full of NCAA Division I, II, and III student-athletes and their Athletic Administrators with a PowerPoint Presentation entitled “Successful APPLE Action Plans- Alcohol Awareness Week-Jeopardy Game.” During the presentation, the team described the Jeopardy game sponsored for Wilson student-athletes during this fall’s Alcohol Awareness Week.

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. –Dr. Amy Farrell, Dickinson College women’s and gender studies professor, will discuss the stigma of being fat in the American culture as viewed through the lens of feminism, at Wilson College on Thursday, March 1, as part of a series of events recognizing National Women’s History Month. “Fat Shame and Feminism,” which is free and open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. in Laird Hall’s Patterson Lounge.

    Exhibition of Local High School Students' Art to Begin Feb. 9

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Wilson College will hold a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, to mark the opening of an exhibition of art made by area high school students. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will continue through March 16, in the Bogigian Gallery, which is located on the second floor of Lortz Hall.
