    Speakers to Examine How True Islam Differs from ISIS at Wilson on Nov. 6

    Two guest speakers will address the topic, “The True Islamic State: What ISIS, the Taliban, Al-Qaida and Boko Haram Got All Wrong,” on Thursday, Nov. 6, at Wilson College. The timely presentation, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 4 p.m. in Laird Hall’s Patterson Lounge.

    Acclaimed Organist Opens Wilson's Van Looy Series Nov. 16

    Organist Jeremy Filsell will perform at Wilson College on Sunday, Nov. 16, in the opening of the college’s annual Van Looy Organ Series. The performance will begin at 3 p.m. in Thomson Hall's Alumnae Chapel, followed by a complimentary reception in Lenfest Commons.

    VMT Club to Hold Dog Washes Oct. 25, 26

    The Wilson College Veterinary Medical Technology Club will host dog washes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, in the college veterinary building near the Park Avenue campus entrance off U.S. 11 (Philadelphia Avenue). The dog washes are open to the public.

    Wilson to Exhibit Art Made by Area High School Students

    Wilson College will hold a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, to mark the opening of an exhibition of art created by area high school students. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will continue through Dec, 5 in the Bogigian Gallery, which is located on the second floor of Lortz Hall.

    The College will officially break ground on the "Reimagining the John Stewart Memorial Library" project and celebrate Founders Day on Thursday, Oct. 9. The groundbreaking ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on the west side of the construction site near the intersection of Lenfest Drive and Gall Way.

    Wilson Welcomes 2014 Lenfest Scholars

    Two first-year Wilson College students have been named Marguerite Brooks Lenfest Scholars for 2014-15. Tianna Weist of Chesterland, Ohio, and Amanda Haase of Culpeper, Virginia, were selected for the honor from among a pool of entering students with the highest, cumulative grade-point averages and demonstrated leadership initiatives.
