Juried High School Art Exhibition Continues through Dec. 7
Wilson College will hold a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov.1, to mark the opening of an exhibition of art made by area high school students. The exhibit, which is free and open to the public, will continue through Dec. 7 in the Bogigian Gallery, which is located on the second floor of Lortz Hall.

Wilson Writers Series Returns with Poet Ryan Teitman

Wilson College Hosts Discussion and Film to Raise Awareness about Women in the Congo
On Monday, Oct., 29, Wilson College will host an event to raise awareness of the systematic use of sexual violence against women as a tool of war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. “Breaking the Silence: Congo Women as Weapons of War” will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the Brooks Science Complex auditorium.

Popular VMT Club Dog Washes to be Held Oct. 27 and 28
The Wilson College Veterinary Medical Technology Club will host two dog washes this fall – on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27 and 28. Both will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the college veterinary building near the Park Avenue campus entrance off U.S. 11 (Philadelphia Avenue).

Wilson Welcomes First Lenfest Scholars
Two first-year Wilson College students have been named Marguerite Brooks Lenfest Scholars. Lindsey Sutton of Greencastle and Kelly Myers of McSherrystown were selected for the honor from among a pool of entering students with the highest cumulative grade-point averages and demonstrated leadership initiatives.
