'Handmade for the Holidays' to Benefit Local Animal Shelter

Wilson College will host the third annual "Handmade for the Holidays" from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the upper and lower levels of Lenfest Commons. The event will feature handmade items from local craftspeople that would make ideal holiday gifts.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Wilson College will host the third annual "Handmade for the Holidays" from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the upper and lower levels of Lenfest Commons. The event will feature handmade items from local craftspeople that would make ideal holiday gifts.

This year’s items for sale include pottery, jewelry, paper craft, textiles, soap products and paintings.

Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter.

Handmade for the Holidays is sponsored by the Wilson College Women’s Studies Advisory Program and the chaplain’s office.
