CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Wilson College will host the fourth annual Handmade for the Holidays event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in the upper and lower levels of Lenfest Commons. The event will feature handmade items from local craftspeople. This year’s items for sale include pottery, jewelry, paper craft, textiles, soap products and paintings.

Shoppers will be supporting not only local craftspeople, but also an area charity organization. Ten percent of the proceeds will benefit Project SHARE, a Carlisle interfaith organization that involves more than 66 local congregations, schools and civic groups. Contributions of food, money and volunteerism provide essential basic assistance to more than 1,000 families each month.

Handmade for the Holidays is sponsored by the Wilson College Women’s Studies Advisory Program and the chaplain’s office.
