Wilson College Welcomes Graduates for Reunion Weekend

Posted: May 30, 2012

More than 250 Wilson College graduates and guests from 29 states are attending Reunion Weekend 2012, June 1-3.

Alumnae are enjoying a variety of events and festivities that started Friday with the Blue Jacket Golf Classic at the Chambersburg Country Club. Also on Friday, Alumnae attended an information session on the status of the John Stewart Memorial Library presented by President Barbara K. Mistick and Library Director Kathleen Murphy. Later, alumnae joined their classmates for a rowdy Odds and Evens Dinner in Jensen Hall.

Saturday's events began with an informational Town Hall meeting with President Mistick. Alumnae also met for their annual meeting of the Alumnae Association and fun was had by all as their classes processed into the Jensen Dining Hall for the All-Alumnae Luncheon. During the afternoon, President Emerita Gwendolyn Jensen gave a poetry reading in the Patterson Boardroom and three alumnae were honored at an alumnae awards ceremony in the Brooks Science Complex. Saturday ended with class dinners around campus.

The weekend closes Sunday with a memorial chapel service and faculty award brunch.
