Wilson World Travel and Dinner Series Visits Afghanistan and Pakistan

Armchair travelers can go abroad and learn about faraway lands through Wilson College's 2012-13 World Travel Dinner and Film Series. The series opens this year on Thursday, Oct. 11, with “Afghanistan and Pakistan: Journey from Kabul to Khyber Pass.”

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Armchair travelers can go abroad and learn about faraway lands through Wilson College's 2012-13 World Travel Dinner and Film Series. The series opens this year on Thursday, Oct. 11, with “Afghanistan and Pakistan: Journey from Kabul to Khyber Pass.” Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. in Laird Hall, followed by the film at 7 p.m. in Thomson Hall's Alumnae Chapel.

The dinner menu for the night will include: Afghan Chicken with garlic and spices, sweetened phyllo crisps, spicy vegetarian eggplant with yogurt sauce, potato and fengreek curry and Pakistani cucumber salad. Dinner will be prepared by SAGE Dining Services® Inc.
