CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Wilson College 2012-13 Performing Arts Series continues on Friday, Oct. 12, with an exhilarating performance by the United States Air Force Heritage Brass Ensemble. There is no admission fee for the concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in Laird Hall.
The quintet brings its distinctive brass sound to all musical genres - from classical, jazz and popular music to Bach and the Beatles. Audiences across the nation are inspired by the precision and artistry demonstrated by these musicians.
Formed in 1973, the Heritage Brass tours the Mid-Atlantic region from South Carolina to Delaware and leaves audiences impressed and delighted with their world-class musicianship and entertaining showmanship. The ensemble’s gifted musicians hold master’s degrees from several of the nation’s top music schools and have performed with the Pittsburgh, Midland-Odessa, New World and Virginia symphonies.
