CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Acclaimed Israeli pianist Efi Hackmey, who gave a riveting performance at Wilson College in 2012, will return to the Wilson stage this month for a free concert of classical music. Hackmey will perform a solo piano recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, in Thomson Hall’s Alumnae Chapel.
Hackmey is a dynamic a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician who recently performed the Chopin F Minor Concerto with the Haifa Symphony Orchestra in Israel and gave a solo recital at the Rose Studio in Lincoln Center.
Part of the Wilson College 2013-14 Performing Arts Series, the free concert is being underwritten by a generous contribution from Bruce and Denise Foreman of Chambersburg. Denise Foreman is a 1948 graduate of Wilson College.
Following the performance, a complimentary reception will be held in Wilson’s Lenfest Commons, where guests will have the chance to speak directly to Hackmey.
