Bernecker Earns All-Conference Honors

Senior soccer player Courtney Bernecker was selected as a member of the North Eastern Athletic Conference Second Team All-Conference. She joins the 33 total student-athletes who are recognized on an All-Conference team. All-Conference selections are decided upon by the conference coaches.

"Courtney is a very talented player and has worked extremely hard during her entire career at Wilson,” said head soccer coach Beth Weixel. “She has had such a vital role in our team’s improvement and raising our level of play. As Wilson’s all-time leading goal scorer she has made a lasting mark in our Wilson Soccer history and has left behind an important legacy for future Phoenix to follow.”

Bernecker led her team in scoring with 12 goals overall and 3 goals against conference opponents. She ended the season with 48 shots, 31 shots on goal, and 24 points. Bernecker played in all 17 games for the Phoenix. She received Second Team All-Conference honors her sophomore year as well.
