Wilson College is sponsoring the third annual essay contest to mark National Women's History Month, which is celebrated in March. The contest is open to all students - male and female - in grades 9 to 12. First prize is $150, while second- and third-place winners will receive $100 and $50, respectively.
Essays must focus on a significant person, event or movement in women's history and analyze its relevance or influence today.
The deadline to enter is Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. The College will announce the contest results on March 3. The winners will be invited to an awards ceremony held at the College.
Entries can be mailed to the Hankey Center at Wilson College, 1015 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg, Pa. 17201, or emailed to email@example.com.
