The International Multilingual Poetry Reading will feature approximately 20 participants - students, current and former faculty, an alumna and a Norwegian resident of Chambersburg - reading poems in Arabic, Armenian, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Nepalese, Norwegian, Rumanian Russian, Spanish and Urdu.
Along with the poetry, there will be musical interludes by Katelyn Wingerd (clarinet) andTom Stendal (guitar and Norwegian song).
The multilingual poetry reading at Wilson College has long been a social, cultural and literary event, open to anyone who wishes to participate either as reader or listener, in representation of a particular language, culture or country, or simply, as an act of personal and poetic solidarity.
It is never too late to participate in this program. Contact Prof. José Hernán Córdova at jose.cordova@wilson.edu.
