All new students are required to attend a mandatory Residence Life meeting Monday, August 19th at 9 pm in the Science Center Auditorium.
All residents (returning and new) are required to attend a mandatory Residence Life meeting Monday, August 26th in the Science Center Auditorium.
All students should go to the check-in location within the check-in time indicated for their group below to pick up their room key. No permission for early arrival will be granted - you must plan to arrive during your allocated time as listed below. If you belong to several of the student groups listed below, you should check-in during the group time that occurs first (i.e. if you are a fall athlete and a returning resident, you should check-in during the Fall Athlete check-in on 8/16). If you have questions regarding which group you should check-in with, please contact the Director of Residence Life.
At the time of check-in, residents will sign their 2012-2013 Residence Hall Lease Agreement and pick up their Room Condition Report form (due to your Resident Assistant within 24 hours). New students will also pick up their Orientation folders at Check-In on August 19th. If you are checking in with one of the groups that is marked with an asterisk (*), you must follow-up with your RA as well as go to the very next regular check-in time (those in bold) to pick-up and complete all the required forms. All students are required to complete and return a Room Condition Report for their room within 24 hours of move-in. Failure to do so will result in a fine for improper check-in ($50).
There will be signs and staff directing cars and unloading efforts during move-in. Please note that if you have an outstanding balance as of the move in date and have not completed arrangements for payment or if you have a medical hold (for incomplete paperwork), you will not be allowed to check-in or pick up a key for your room.
