SUPA (Studio Upsun* in Pennsylvania) is a new initiative designed to provide opportunities to engage in in-depth investigations of choreographic practices.

We have looked for sophisticated and rigorous choreographers who are interested in teaching and its relationship to making. We have given them an entire week to work with a limited number of students (maximum 10) via composition, repertory, mentoring or whatever combination of practices they feel is useful.

It is our hope that this will result in a give and take of knowledge and practice that is rigorous, personal, intense and intensely pleasurable.
