Accepted Student Day

Academic Advising and Fall Course Selection
Academic Advising will be offered during our ACCEPTED STUDENT event for eligible deposited students (those students who submit a deposit by 3/13/15).

Before a deposited student may receive Academic Advising and make fall course selections, all first-year students (freshmen) must satisfy on-campus Academic Placement Testing in three subjects (Math, English and Writing).  These tests are computerized and last up to three hours.

In order to make the most of the time a family spends on-campus, we have added these components to our ACCEPTED STUDENT event.  Being sensitive to costs and time spent away from school and work, we offer three options to accomplish testing and advising.

Other opportunities will be offered later in the spring and summer to return to campus for these activities, if you are not ready to deposit or cannot accomplish them during this event.

Option 1 Friday, 3/27
9 am - 12 pm     Placement Testing
1:30 - 4:30 pm   Academic Advising

Option 2 Friday and Saturday combined
1:30 pm - 4:30 pm     Placement Testing (Friday, 3/27)
9 am - 12 pm             Academic Advising (Saturday, 3/28)

Option 3 Saturday, 3/28 (This option is ideal for local students).
9 am - 12 pm      Placement Testing
Academic Advising by telephone or on-campus appointment at a later date.
