Applying for Aid ADP

Adult Degree Students

Full-time Adult Degree Program (ADP) students may be considered for several merit scholarships based on high school or college academic achievement and affiliation scholarships. Award notices for merit scholarships will be sent by the Admission Office after the student is admitted. Affiliation scholarships will be included in a student's financial aid award letter. These scholarships for fulltime students are automatically renewed up to four years as long as the student continues to make satisfactory academic progress and meets any minimum grade point average that may be required.

Every student is also encouraged to apply annually for need-based financial aid which includes grants, loans and on-campus work study awards. Many students think that they will not qualify for any financial aid based on need; this is often not true. More than 90% of Wilson college students receive some type of aid annually.

The financial aid process begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which can be completed online. This form should be filed each year as early as possible after October 1.  The college code for Wilson College is 003396. We know that the process can be confusing for many families. We encourage you to contact our office with any questions about the form or the financial aid process. We want to make sure that you are considered for all financial aid for which you may qualify.

Students are encouraged to apply for private scholarships from churches, employers, clubs or local service organizations. If you bring these additional awards to Wilson, we will not reduce your institutional scholarships, instead we reduce any loans or family contribution towards your cost of education.
