Wilson College in Chambersburg is seeking a part-time assistant teacher for our childcare center. This position will work approximately 25 hours per week. It is imperative that there is safe supervision and adherence to all Department of Human Services regulations and Keystone STARS requirements. Additional detailed job duties will be communicated during the employment interviewing process.
The successful candidate would possess a high school diploma and at least two years of experience working with children. A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred. If the applicant does not have a CDA or higher, one must be obtained within 2 years of hire. Written documentation of education and experience is required.
