Writers Series Event Fall 2019

Each semester, the Department of English and Mass Communications sponsors poets, novelists, prose writers, or creative non-fiction authors to visit campus and present readings of their latest works. This year we are pleased to welcome poets Heather Hamilton and Eric Bliman to campus.

Blessing of the Animals Fall 2019

The Office of the Chaplain will host the service on the main green at noon.

 

 

Pocket Pet Wash fall 2019

All pocket pets welcome. No charge. Donations welcome. 

Services offered: Bathing and nail trimming. Please bring animals in a carrier or on a harness. If you are not a VMT student/do not have access to the building, please come to a side door and someone will be there to let you in.

Annual Juried High School Student Art Exhibition

The Wilson College juried high school art exhibition will be held in the Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall from Oct. 30 to Dec. 6, 2019, with an opening reception on Oct 30, 4:30-6 p.m. It is a chance for student artists to see their artwork displayed in a professional venue and possibly win cash or a scholarship.

The Foundry Artists at Wilson

Wilson College will hold a reception from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in Lortz Hall's Bogigian Gallery to mark the opening of a new exhibition featuring works made by artist members of The Foundry. The exhibition, which will run through Oct. 11, is free and open to the public.

Jim Condron exhibition: You Never Wash it Off Completely

An art exhibition celebrating the 150-year history of Wilson College–created by Baltimore artist Jim Condron using college relics and artifacts–opens Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the Wilson library's Sue Davison Cooley Gallery. The exhibition, You Never Wash it Off Completely, will run through Dec. 15.
