101 Celebrations! Wilson College Students Earn Pennsylvania Teacher Certification

Wilson College recognizes and celebrates the 101 students who earned Pennsylvania teacher certification this year. Our Teacher Certification Pathways program is popular with working professionals who want to earn their teacher certification at their own pace while continuing to work. The program is flexible, adaptive, convenient, and affordable and is open to anyone with a bachelor’s degree or higher. Financial help is available to those who qualify, and Pennsylvania teacher certification is accepted in most states.

Wilson College's Popular Online Teaching Certification Goes National

Teachers from out-of-state can now earn Pennsylvania teaching certification through Wilson College’s innovative Teacher Online Pathway (TOP). Convenient, flexible and affordable, TOP is for current teachers who want to work towards certification on their own schedules. Pennsylvania teaching certification is recognized in most states in the U.S.

Wilson Expands Teacher Certification Program to Include an Online-Only Option

Pennsylvania’s teacher shortage crisis is amping up interest in teaching careers. In response to the growing demand for teacher certification programs, Wilson College has expanded its former Teacher Intern Program (TIP), now offering an online-only certification program and a program for foreign language teachers, as well as the traditional program.

SPE 348: Pre-Practicum, Special Education

A full-time clinical experience in local schools during the student’s senior year. Placement will be equally divided between general education and special education classrooms.  Requires observing, aiding, tutoring, teaching and maintaining a portfolio.  Preparation for the senior-year student teaching practicum.  Supervised by college faculty. Prerequisites: EDU 204, 215 and Official Acceptance to Education Program.
