Education Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of their program curricula, students who complete a major in Education will be able to 

• demonstrate measurable knowledge of content and subject materials,
• demonstrate knowledge of pedagogical skills in planning and implementing strategies to meet the needs in today’s diverse classrooms,
• exhibit an understanding of technologies related to instructional practice and applicable to student needs,
• demonstrate the ability to apply assessment strategies that address state standards and differentiate each according to student needs,
• identify, manage, and implement effective classroom routines, procedures, and management skills,
• exhibit skill in delivering instruction and engaging others in learning by employing a variety of research-based instructional strategies, 
• demonstrate professional standards and practices in all settings within and beyond the classroom, and
• demonstrate the ability to analyze student data and classroom data to develop effective instruction.
