Are candles and incense allowed in the rooms?

No, for the safety of all our residents, candles and incense are not allowed in your rooms. It is a Blue Book violation to be in possession of candles or incense. Students may also not have anything with an open flame or open heat coil. Plug-in air fresheners are also not permitted as they constitute a fire hazard.

Use or storage of flammable products including gasoline, paint, and paint thinner is strictly prohibited. Weapons, firearms, and explosives (including fireworks) are also strictly forbidden in the residence halls.
