At Wilson College, we value the women and men who bravely volunteer to serve in today's military and defend the freedoms we enjoy. We welcome you to explore the many high-quality educational opportunities we provide. Many veterans of the armed services are eligible to receive financial assistance through the Veterans Administration. In addition, new GI Bill® implementation affords higher education opportunities for more veterans than ever before.

Military veterans, active-duty personnel, dependents of disabled veterans, National Guard and Reservists may receive educational benefits at Wilson College. Federal VA education benefits as well as State Grant programs are available to part-time and full-time students.

Before enrolling, you must speak with your Educational Services Officer (ESO) or designated military education counselor within your branch of service to discuss your educational plans and confirm your eligibility for education benefits.

Yellow Ribbon Program

The VA has approved Wilson's participation in the Yellow Ribbon program for 35 eligible undergraduate level students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Under this program, participating schools pay the portion of the tuition that exceeds the amount the Post-9/11 GI Bill® covers and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) matches the school's contribution - often eliminating all costs to military students who have 100% entitlement. Students may be eligible for a housing and book allowance through the GI Bill®. The maximum tuition and fees paid by the VA for 2026-27 will be $30,908.34.  Wilson College, along with the VA, will pay the balance of the tuition and fees charged for the academic year.

Wilson College is committed to fair, ethical, and student-centered recruitment practices.The college does not engage in high-pressure recruitment tactics to secure enrollments, including for Service members, veterans, or military-affiliated students. The college will not make multiple unsolicited recruitment contacts (three or more), whether by phone, email, text message, or in-person solicitation, nor will it engage in same-day recruitment and registration practices designed to pressure prospective students into immediate enrollment decisions. Prospective students are provided with sufficient time and information to make informed educational choices without undue influence or coercion.
