Healthy mental, physical and spiritual well-being are very important components of student success. The Wilson College Wellness Center offers many services to students who may need mind, body, and/ or spirit support. Made up of chaplaincy, counseling and nurse offices, the Wellness Center strives to nurture, support and empower the whole student.

The college nurse is available by appointment or walk-in for minor injuries and illnesses, blood pressure screenings, flu shots, pamphlets and more. The nurse works with local medical providers to help connect students with additional care if needed. She also provides a range of educational outreach to campus throughout the year.

The college counseling office is comprised of a full-time counselor, part-time counselor, two graduate counseling interns and a consulting psychiatrist. Counseling is provided free of charge to students and provides a confidential space to find support for a variety of issues. To speak with a counselor, students are encouraged to schedule an initial meeting by email or telephone. Crisis services and psychiatric appointments are also available. The counseling staff also provides a variety of educational outreach throughout the year.

The college chaplain supports and encourages the spiritual growth and development of all members of the campus community in a manner that honors the diversity of religious beliefs present at Wilson College. Chaplain services include weekly worship, morning prayer, pastoral care, fiber fellowship, meditation and many more for both students and staff.
