Wilson College will open an art exhibit featuring artwork by Pittsburgh-based visual artist Jada Patterson on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in the Cooley Gallery, located on the second floor of the John Stewart Memorial Library (JSML). The exhibition will run through April 10, 2026, and is open to the public at no cost. 

Wilson College will open a new art exhibition titled “Jacques Callot and Those Who Came After” on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 4:30 p.m. in the first-floor gallery of the John Stewart Memorial Library. The exhibition will run through the spring semester. 

Cooley Gallery is showing an exhibition of Philip Lindsey's work from his time on sabbatical. "Passages: New Work by Philip Lindsey" is on display through January 31. Philip is known on campus, not only for his art but for his positive attitude and enthusiasm for his students. He shares, "Helping students realize that they are capable of creating a work of art that demonstrates, not only incredible technical skill, but deep contextual content as well, is particularly rewarding. This happens every semester.

Celebrate the arts at Wilson College as it hosts the second annual ArtsFest from April 1-5. The theme for this year’s event is “Art is…Transformation,” which highlights how art transforms human experience. ArtsFest is a week-long event that includes theatre and dance performances, a fashion show, open mic readings, and visual arts workshops. One highlight of the week will be a UNITY project, which will allow members of the community to help create a structure of intertwined yarn that will represent their interconnectedness. All events are free and open to the public.

The Foundry, at 100 South Main Street in downtown Chambersburg, will host an exhibition of artwork by Wilson College Studio Art and Graphic Design students. The exhibition will open February 2 and continue through February 27, 2024. The event is free and open to the public.

Wilson College will host a senior capstone exhibition for Simone Hawkins at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 19, at Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall at Wilson College. The exhibition will continue through January 19, 2024.

Wilson will hold a reception at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, to mark the opening of the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition. The show, presented by Arts at Wilson, will continue through April 21 in the Bogigian Gallery on the second floor of Lortz Hall.

Wilson will host an opening for Breana Sneed’s senior capstone exhibition at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, at Bogigian Gallery in Lortz Hall. The show will continue through January 18, 2023. Before the opening, professor Denise Joyal will host a ceramic pit firing along with Ms. Sneed. This firing event will take place at 6:15 p.m. at Lortz Hall. All are welcome!

The Foundry, a Chambersburg art cooperative located at 100 N. Main St., will host Wilson Students at The Foundry, an exhibition of artwork by Wilson College studio art students, from Feb. 28 to March 15. The Foundry will host a "meet the artists" event from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 6. The exhibit and the March 6 reception are free and open to the public.

Wilson College recently announced the winners of its 9th annual juried high school student art exhibition, which runs through Dec. 6 in the Bogigian Gallery in Wilson's Lortz Hall.
