Beth Byers

Beth Byers, M.Ed., has been an educator for over 30 years. She began her career teaching first and second grade for seven years. After becoming a mother, she transitioned out of the elementary classroom and began working as an adjunct instructor in higher education, where she taught courses in early literacy and supervised student teachers in the field. 

In 2014, she accepted a position as director of the Teacher Certification Pathways at Wilson College. Under her leadership, the program has grown exponentially, including the launch of an online pathway. As director, Byers plays a key role in student onboarding, completes transcript audits, and conducts intake interviews. She finds great fulfillment in guiding and supporting students as they embark on a new path toward a career in education.

Byers received her Bachelor of Science in elementary education and early childhood education, and a Master of Education as a reading specialist, both from Shippensburg University.
